Hopefully her work past the post is an indicator that she'll handle the extra ground.
The SA filly was badly held-up before flashing late when the race was over. She's drawn out wide and it's hard to predict the tempo here but Dubenenko (11) has the best form for this, coming off an incredibly unlucky 6th in the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m). That makes it a tricky race to map but on what we've seen, Veight and Tom Kitten should land in the first half of the field. BEST BETįield of 2YOs stepping up to 1400m for the first time here. Papillon Club (7) comes out of the same race as Wollombi and is still very much on the up. The mile is a new challenge but she's been attacking the line with plenty of gusto over 1400m. Wollombi (5), like the top pick Shuffle Dancer, just keeps stepping up to the mark - going from a Gosford BM64 at the start of this prep to victory in the G3 Vanity (1400m) here last start. Her form at 1500m an beyond is very good, including a couple of nice efforts at this track. Pavitra (4) was just even on resumption off some nice trials but she could be a sharp improver over this longer trip. The Moody filly looks a real Flemington horse and there's no reason why she can't improve on her last-start effort given she was 35 days between runs there, coming back in trip. Shuffle Dancer (3) just keeps getting the job done and shouldn't have any issues with the rise to 1600m. Papillon Club should be handy from barrier six, while Nunthorpe and Terrestar have both drawn to settle in the first five without too much effort. Kah will probably send Pavitra forward from the wide gate.
